This section begins its journey along the reservoir. You will hear constant bubbling of water from a nearby stream during a large part of this section, and here is also one of Hong Kongs largest fresh water banks. You will have some stunning views over the the Shing Mun Reservoir. The park is granite and volcanic rock terrain, most of this walk will be on natural clay paths.

Highlights: Views over Shing Mun Reservoir and Tai Po. This hike offers beautiful scenery at many places.

How to get there: Take MTR to Tsuen Wan station (exit B), and take the walkway to  Shiu Wo Street. Take green minibus no 82, and get off at Pineapple Dam terminus. Turn right and walk on the shores of Jubilee Reservoir, and after crossing the main dam, turn immediately left. The first Wilson trail sign will appear on the granite wall on the right hand side. Traveling time from Central to starting point is about 1h.

How to get home: This section will end in Yuen Tun Ha, walk down the road to San Uk Ka where you can take minibus 23K or 275R and go to Tai Po Market MTR station. Traveling time from this point to Central will be about 1,5h.
