The hike starts along the roadside at the reservoir and turns in to the forrest on a nice man-made stone paths. The hike climbs up to some nice views and will take you down to Cowpat Beach, the last part of this section is a walk up to the village Shui Hau.

Highlights: The Cowpat beach is a nice stop for a swim. The village at the end of the section, with its small shops where you can buy some drinks and snacks directly from the owner, who also lives there.

How to get there: Take bus 1 or 2 from Mui Wo, or bus 11 or 23 from Tung Chung and get of at Sha Tsui bus stop.

How to get home: The section finish at South Lantau Road. There is a bus stop further ahead from the end of the section. Take bus 1,2 or 4 to Mui Wo, or bus 11 or 23 to Tung Chung
