The last section of Lantau Trail starts at the picturesque village of Pui O. Start from Pui O Road and turn down towards to the water. Be sure to keep your eyes open for the yellow signs showing down from Pui O Road. You will pass small villages, houses and a sweet little temple. The last strip are offering nice views over Mui Wo.
Highlights: Don’t miss the temple down by the sea at Pui O. The view from the top, halfway through the hike, is spectacular.
How to get there: Take any bus from Mui Wo (1, 2, 4, 35), get off at Pui O San Wai.
How to get home: The ferry from Mui Wo to Central.
Good to know
The Turkish restaurant at Mui Wo is an excellent choice for lunch/dinner after the hike.
