This section is very beautiful. It starts from Tai O Village and follows the water almost all the way. You will pass secluded beaches, and have some stunning views from several spots.
Highlights: The whole hike is a highlight itself. Nice views and beautiful nature. You will also pass some old villages.
How to get there: The start is in Tai O Village. Take the bus from Mui Wo or from Tung Chung. You can also catch the boat from Tung Chung.
How to get home: The trail finish at a water catchment. You will have to continue on section 8 to Keng Shan Road.
Good to know
If you don’t own a pair of wings you will have to combine this hike with section 8.
