This section starts on Aberdeen Reservoir Rd and ends at Wong Nai Chung Gap Rd. It is easy to get to starting point and get from the ending point with taxi or bus. This section is mostly flat, easy and pleasant hiking, but with a long and tiring uphill around marker H044. Great for families.

Highlights: On this section you can find traces from the second world war like pillboxes and gun emplacements. They are not easy to find but keep your eyes open to your left hand side, close to H041 and you will find several of them.

How to get there: Take bus15 from Exchange Square towards The Peak. Alight at Wan Chai Gap Rd on Stubbs Rd. Walk down Aberdeen Reservoir Rd, or continue from section 3.

How to get home: It ends very conveniently near the bus stop on Wong Nai Chung Gap Road, you have many options of buses that departs here frequently.
