The hike starts at a point reachable from either Tung Chung Road or South Lantau Road. A good way to start this section is to take the bus from Mui Wo and walk from South Lantau Road up to the starting point. You´ll get a couple of extra kilometres but its a good add-on to this quite easy part of this trail.

Highlights: The highlights are few, it’s a short hike and mostly on a water catchment. A lunch afterwards in Pui O where this section ends is a good reward.

How to get there:  When you did section 10 you probably walked a bit on section 11 to get to Tung Chung Road. The easiest way to start this section is to start close to distance post L116. Take the bus 1, 2 or 4  from Mui Wo to Cheung Sha Catchwater.

How to get home: Take any bus to Mui Wo (1, 2, 4, 35)

Good to know
You will have to access through old Tung Chung Road from S Lantau Road or walk back from New Tung Chung Road along the section 11.
